Description

VCBC shower trays are acrylic shower slimline shower trays designed to laid directly onto the floor surface. They are designed to be used with VCBC shower enclosures (see separate information sheet). They can be used as for 2 sided or 3 sided (alcove) showers where appropriate upstands have been fitted.

The height on the trays is 35mm with width and length ranging from 760 to 1800mm. The height of the upstand side is 55 to 75mm.

VCBC showers trays need to be installed with the easy clean waste provided.

VCBC shower trays are intended to be used with water temperatures from 10-55 degrees celcius.

Scope of use

VCBC acrylic shower trays are intended for domestic and commercial use. They are designed to enclose water to the shower area. They can be used with water temperatures up to 55 degrees celsius.

VCBC shower trays are designed to be used with VCBC shower enclosures and appropriate wall linings.

Conditions of use

VCBC shower trays must be installed in accordance with the instructions provided. We recommend these shower enclosures are installed by an authorised installer. Floor surfaces must be flat and free of movement.

This product is intended for domestic and commercial use.

This product is cleanable and impervious to to moisture — cleaning of the tray and waste shall be done in accordance with the manufacturer's cleaning instructions.

B2 Durability • B2.3.1 VCBC shower trays carry a 5 year domestic or 1 year non-domestic warranty.

F2 Hazardous building materials • F2.3.1 VCBC shower trays are safe when handled. There are no requirements for this product in order to comply with Acceptable Solution F2/AS1, First Edition Amendment 3, 2017.

G1 Personal Hygiene • G1.3.2 VCBC shower trays shall be installed to: facilitate sanitation, avoid harbouring dirt or germs, allow effective cleaning, discharge to a plumbing and drainage system as required by Clause G13 Foul water when water-borne disposal is used, and provide a healthy safe disposal system when non-water-borne disposal is used Sanitary fittings should be easy to locate and identify, with their operation easy to understand and suitable for both standing and seated users.
